  2. right click the volume icon in the taskbar<\/li>\n
  3. select \u201cplayback devices\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. right click your disconnected device in this list<\/li>\n
  5. click \u201cconnect\u201d<\/li>\n
  6. (optional) if your computer doesn\u2019t immediately switch from speakers to headphones, select them and hit the \u201cset default\u201d button at the bottom of the playback devices window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n
