Oddly enough, people were more succesful using the reverse-engineered <a href=\"http:\/\/cord.sourceforge.net\">CoRD<\/a> client. But this reverse-engineered solution had trouble with newer Windows versions, just because RDP is a bag of hurt.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any issues using the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and higher, you should check out <a href=\"http:\/\/social.technet.microsoft.com\/Forums\/en-US\/winserverTS\/thread\/8e28b0af-b374-4ca0-a255-5fd854bdc7fa\">this thread on TechNet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the end, someone links to<a href=\"https:\/\/dl.dropbox.com\/u\/18309066\/rdc_2.1.2_120917_release_enu_ship_clean_standard_retail_redlab_120917-apex-build-XS26-.dmg\"> a new version of the client<\/a>, hosted on Dropbox.<\/p>\n<p>This claims to be version 2.1.2 of the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac. Try it out and see if it fixes your issues.<\/p>\n<h2>Update<\/h2>\n<p>Just around the release of OS X 10.9 Mavericks, Microsoft has released two Microsoft Remote Desktop apps in the Apple App Store.
